21 Capitalist Freedoms

1.Freedom to buy an interest in properties, while already owning other properties. Freedom to have social welfare beneficiaries who are sick/ill (Social Security Act 1964) pay rent (Residential Tenancies Act 1986), then use that rent to pay off the mortgages on those properties (Land Transfer Act 1952: Property Law Act 2007 (NZ) etc.)


2.Freedom to own a company and own shares to the exclusion of others, because they cannot afford to (Companies Act 1993)

3.Freedom to pay workers less that for what they actually produce and to lower their wages down to the absolute legal minimum, and if it was possible to pay them nothing they would-- but, because of the legislation, capitalists lacks the freedom to (Minimum Wage Order 2009)

4.Freedom to earn thousands or millions of dollars whilst others go homeless or die from starvation overseas.

5.Freedom of social mobility, being a social climber, a petty aristocrat, and socialite

6.Freedom to gain a university degree and buy into a better life-style (intellectual hierarchy)
(Student Loan Scheme Act 1992 etc)

7.Freedom to avoid being compelled by the State to be responsible for the lives of others

8.Freedom from State intervention and compulsion (cf. minarchy)

9.Freedom of the anarchy of deregulated free-market capitalism.

10.Freedom to legitimately steal millions of dollars from the work of others and call that profit

11.Freedom to be aggressive, selfist, pro-greed, and individualistic, while many others are not.

12.Freedom to exploit others as a means to your own ends (see I. Kant Kingdom of Ends).

13.Freedom to have capitalist states destroy socialist countries then lie to the world and claim it was all done in the name of democracy and freedom

14.Freedom to directly and indirectly destroy the lives of others - lawfully that is.

15.Freedom to preach fake mantras such as: we all have choices and self-responsibility (Ayn Rand etc)

16.Freedom to exercise the power of choice and by doing so effectively deprive others of their choice

17.Freedom to go on You Tube and spread lies, disinformation, about socialism and communism, when their own capitalist system is gravitating towards fascism

18.Freedom to rely on capitalist governments for convenient trillion dollarbail-outs during capitalism's Great collapse-all financed by the tax-payers of course.

19.Freedom to close up a factory in a small town, lay off all workers, re-locate, then use exploited sweat-shop labour in some third world country - to increase profit margins

20. Freedom to privatize management of State prisons (Corrections (Contract Management of Prisons) Amendment Act 2009 (NZ)), make a living from the dead (eg. Funeral parlours), & future privatization of euthanasia services? - For those who value the freedom to do away with themselves, because of their lack of freedom under capitalism?

21. Freedom to pimp prostitutes and make a profit off them (Prostitution Reform Act 2003 (NZ). But also lacking freedom because compelled to pay part of that profit to the pimp State as business tax
