Thanks to everyone who visited CMC Chesterfield on Wednesday 18th of June to meet Yamaha's BSB rider Karl Harris and MotoGP's James Toseland, it was a great evening with both riders signing loads of autographs and being interviewed on stage as well as James thrashing out some tunes on a Yamaha piano.
CMC also had on display a vast range of replica race bikes including James Toseland, Valentino Rossi, Colin Edwards, Jorge Lorenzo replicas and the first Valentino Rossi "Azzuri" painted bike that was ridden at the Italian MotoGP race in June 2008. Also on display was the first shipment of BKS leathers which arrived on the day which look stunning and CMC will soon have the limited edition James Toseland one piece suit available but be quick if you want one as there are only 152 available in the UK.
Karl Harris and Yamaha race team manager Rob Mcelnea kindly loaned CMC their BSB race bike to be on display which is a stunning piece of work and it was great to have a close up look at such an exotic race bike.
Special thanks Dave Calvert who donated a first print of a picture that he took sixty hours painting of James Toseland in action on his Yamaha with all proceeds going to Riders for Health to which Geoffrey Wood from Mansfield raised his hand the highest and bid £230 for the picture that James Toseland signed on the night.
Keith Martin Photography had a vast range of memorabilia on show which went down well featuring all the top racers and Keith also demonstrated his interview skills early on in the evening with Karl Harris and even Karl's young son a budding future road racer if ever we saw one.
James Toseland said on stage that it was great to be back at CMC Chesterfield just before the MotoGP at Donnington to meet family, friends and supporters and it was nice of James to recall his visits to CMC Chesterfield early in his racing career.
Once again thanks to all who attended the evening and helped make it a memorable night, we all now look forward to Donington this weekend and James having a fantastic result at his home MotoGP.
I was there that night, had an amazing time. James is the most amazing person I've ever met!! Just adorable!! xxx

Yeah- I'm sure I would have just smiled at him like his lovely 'page turner' lady did!!
Dunno if she was just a member of the audience, or part of his crew but she showed considerable constraint. You missed your chance there Gal ;D He's Gorgeous!!
