Pinnacle Pioneers (5-0) face Marcos de Niza (5-0) as a game of the week on October 5, 2007. Both teams played a great game but Marcos walked away with a hard fought win.
The game was closer then he score indicated since Marcos, who's notorious for the love of stats, ran up the score when they could have easly taken a knee to end the game.

Yeah... too bad cause it really hurt their playoff chances. If I recall, didn't Pinnacle rank higher in the power point system and Marcos lost to Horizon the next week? Hmmm... very proud I bet.

Not really. I'm long out of high school and never went to Pinnacle. It wasn't even open yet when I was in HS. I just film their games for them and then state facts when idiots start to speak out of their asses.

yeah its funny how we beat pinnacles ass and they were still ranked higher and lost to south.... lol we lost one game the whole regular season but we still beat you guys so dont talk about it. especially if you didnt even play.

Hey retard... it is funny because it's not a ranking system you moron. It's all about the numbers. Marcos played weaker teams therefore they got fewer points and were ranked lower. It's not the best system, but it works.
Just because a team beats someone doesn't make them a better team, it means they played better that night. Was Horizon better b/c they beat Marcos? No they weren't. Pinnacle was a better team than South that year, they just happen to come out on top that night.
