Just had a Flowmaster 70 series muffler welded in place of the stock one on my 99 Explorer 4.0 SOHC. It's nice, not too loud. I'm very happy with it. I kept the stock piping and resonator as well. It helps when listening to the video if you have good speakers with good bass, because a lot of the sound of the exhaust is in the bass which enhances how you hear it in person.

  • Yeah the tires were ridiculously old, i got new ones a couple months after i made this. The 70 does make more sound than stock, more bass when you're cruising, but its tolerable. It's probably the best of both worlds because its not loud enough that it'll become annoying, but you can definitely hear it and it gives it a good rumble. I think its just right.
