  • yngwee is not the original!! Are you crazy! most of yngwee is just van Halen and Randy Rhoads and then he chucks in a bit of Paganini and a bit of Bach! jez dont give the man credit itll just blow up hi ego...

  • Man it's been a while since I heard some Yngwie, this is great stuff I love this song! Yngwie might repeat himself a lot but he's the original, we wouldn't have the shredders we have today if it wasn't for him. His sound is so original, that is until everyone copied him. You gotta admit he's amazing his first album Rising Force is one the best shred albums I've ever heard, it's up there with Dragon's Kiss and Perpetual Burn, among others.

  • fuck joe stump, hes an yngwie wanna-be...if you wanna see and hear insane, check out michael angelo batio. period.

  • joe stump is an yngwie clone... same guitar shape, same pants, same style of playing.... if Yngwie deserves to be up there is cause he's the original, not just a clone... many can be better technically (not easy kids) but how many have what it takes to invent a new style?

  • Malmsteen rocks! still does.. but sometimes most of his solos sound the same..

I recommend the shredders out there to listen to Joe Stump. He's the fuckin shred lord!

  • man this mo kicks ass

  • mmmmmmmmolllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • if he prepared every solo in advanced it would take him for ever but almost all of his live performance solos sound exactly the same

  • Oh and i really think tony macalpine is where its at if you want neo-classical. I think hes got much better technique than Yngwie.

  • It was actually Baroque music but yeah you got the right idea.

I meant a guy who incorporated it into rock and that.

I used to love Malmsteen but i dunno...now he just seems boring, theres only so much fast picking and sweeping you can hear before it seems boring. Though it sure is fun to play on guitar haha.
