  • Shime too soft.

  • karate merda

  • @ShorinRyuRonin lol ok. I misused shime, that's my bad. What I meant was structural training. Oscar Higa does the sort of training in this video, by the way.

  • @HoParoikos, Sorry I have never seen it. I have been to Okinawa many times & seen there large tournament & never seen any Shorin styles do this but not saying it is impossible.

Shorin styles do not do artificial breathing as Goju & other styles either & no we dont need to practice breathing like them.

Try to be civil if that is possible for you.

  • @ShorinRyuRonin that's not true. it's actually common in several schools, just not many of the modern schools. It's all Okinawan Karate, so it's not copying, that's an immature remark. Shime has a specific goal, you don't think Shorin ryu stylists don't need that training either?

  • I have been training in shorin ryu karate-do for a little while now. And i must say, I have gained a lot of patience and have gained a better perspective on life.

  • @samertz, This is copied from Goju & Uechi Ryu, no Shorin style does this & I have seen many Shorin styles in Okinawa.

  • Shime training on Naihanchi?

  • nice to see this. thanks for posting.
