@hosvius true Ive got one (2001 f350 extended xlt 7.3L) they might not even be the fastest, but damn they would pull the hardest stock for stock against anything else in that year or prior. Even still tey will pull with the best
i agree other than the 5.9 cummins was a pretty good engine in all of its forms. But i myself am a ford man and im on my 6th 7.3 for a reason! Cause the old work horses are hard to beat!!!!
no substitute for cubic inches, bigger is always better, 7.3's rules for brute power,might not be the prettiest or the most modern,but it does the job superbly.

the 7.3 Power Stroke and the pre-common rail 24 valve Cummins were the last REAL diesel engines offered in a truck
