BTW, there is no such word as "Boxkator" in the Khmer dictionary. To be corrected, the spelling is "LBOKATAO" in Khmer Romanization, pronounced "LBOK KAK TAO", link deep into the ancient Khmer of Sanskrit and Pali. Khmer translation in Khmer dictionary by Lok Ta Choeun Nat, is the used of a twin sticks to shield Dambong Veng. But Khmer later used to name Kun Khmer. The name traced back to even before the FUNAN about 500 BC.

It will take time, and effort, and if you students good, the name of LBokatao will come out naturally, SO YOU DONT NEED TO USE MUAY THAI AS MARKETING TOOL. PLEASE HELP PRESERVE KUN KHMER LBOKATAO. Yes this it is actually pradal serey khmer, however people understand it more if you just label it muay thai to avoid confusion. To be exact, it is boxkator.
