@mdbonner I never said anything about record sales, i was just stating that he wrote Icky Thump and Seven Nation Army, so it must have been a well written song in order to attract fans to it

@mdbonner I agree with you about Jack White's guitar playing, but saying is songwriting is retarded is just a down right lie. Seven Nation Army is one of the greatest songs of the 00's in general and Icky Thump reached number 1 on the charts along with Seven Nation Army, so make sure you get your facts straight about his songwriting before you start bashing it.

@13Musicmachine Are you serious? Jack White is probably the greatest guitar player of his generation. You have it completely backwards, Dan is a way better songwriter (seriously listen to White Stripes lyrics they are borderline retarded a lot of the time) and Jack is the better guitar player. You are clueless and obviously have not listened to either musicians entire catalog.

jack white hands down..his lyrics and guitar playing are god like. He also produces grammy winning albums for country stars. has like eight bands. made great music with a girl who can't play drums. AS ORIGINAL AS THEY COME
