NEXT CONCERT! Celebrated rock concert pianist, Scott D. Davis, revolutionizes the rock piano scene with his cool vibe and sophisticated, spirited style. Mixing it up, Scott shares the stage with special guest vocalist, Jeff Salado of Arrival, bringing two remarkable talents together on one stage - performing several songs together.

Hundreds of fans will be on hand at the Dixon Performing Arts Theater on Saturday, September 26, 2009 as Scott D. Davis performs a live, stimulating set of rock and metal music on grand piano. Doors open at 7:30 pm with Scott taking the stage at 8:00 pm. Tickets will be available on or before Friday, June 26, starting at $20 for general admission and $15 for Students and Seniors. The show includes classic rock songs by Guns N' Roses, Metallica, The Eagles, Nirvana, Linkin Park, Journey, Evanescence, Led Zepplin and Scotts own original compositions, and more!

Scott tells of the challenges he faces when composing during an interview with Kathy Parsons, of Mainly Piano.com. As a composer, it was a very interesting challenge to figure out how to take a song that was never intended for the piano and try to make it sound like it was.

Perhaps New Age Reporter best described him by saying his exuberance and originality are invigorating and his upbeat attitude contagious.

He has also been referred to as the rocker of new age/contemporary classical music.

Scotts mission is to unite fans of both rock and classical music using the subtleties and tremendous emotional power of the piano as his instrument.

Scott and Jeff will be available following the concert to connect with the audience. CDs and other products will also be available for purchase on site.

  • Now i figured out that i have to sell my piano

  • for the first time I dont complain about 240p

  • @lenzub So do a cover of this on piano and it becomes more epic? 8)

  • You RULE Scott!!!

  • wow...

  • @SCHneeWill Bro I'm just comparing the actual song on guitar to on piano. and the song being played on piano took away the feeling of Master Of Puppets. And I can do these songs much better and on guitar the way these songs were made to be played. Stop being so ignorant doesn't matter if someone else can do better or worse. everyone musician should strive for perfection especially in expression.

  • @profanious id like to see you do better...

  • beautifull (L), metallica should invite you to a show

  • Master of Puppets was so shit. Get the expression and volumes right and it might sound an eighth as good as the actual song.

  • @lenzub these songs were far more epic when played on guitar. Take a good song, play it on piano, it becomes a less epic song. But still sounds cool.
