Actually, no statistically meaningful difference between religious people and atheists on this. Though anecdotal evidence show the religious tend to get very angry very fast when their beliefs are objectively challenged. A good Midah to cultivate patience and forebearance, but God has nothing to do with it. Boy, this video really made me angry. But, phew, no uncontrollable rage.
"Not understanding there's more to life than just you." Yes, exactly. The opposite is called being level headed and conscious. It has nothing to do with God, unless "God" is simply an analogy for the connection between everything.
Rabbi Simon is clearly a very wise and thoughtful man. I think what he is trying to express is perhaps too complex for such a short clip. People who are rageful are self centered and narcissistic. This narcissism often leads them to project their own anger and shame at themselves onto others leading them to rage. We always dislike those we meet who remind us of what we dislike about ourselves.
Im Jewish, pro-white, pro-life, isolationist and socialist(anti-capitalist) by any means so that every Jew is protected and cared for to promote Jewish longevity, survival and propagation foremost.
