  • Very nice.

I have a question, hopefully you can answer it.

Is a 12 STRING GUITAR and a Bajo Sexto the same thing?

Is the only difference the last two strings (1st and 2nd strings), are tuned or are changed from e and B to C and F?

  • The difference between a twelve string guitar and a bajosexto is the tuning: EADGBE and a bajosexto is EADGCF, you are correct but it is not just tuning the string gauge is different. Also the whole instrument construction is different, the brace pattern for the top is different on bajo than it is for a standard twelve string guitar. To get the true bajo sound you need to be playing a bajo sexto or bajo quinto. Hope that answers your question.

  • Nice Job on the Bajo!!!

It sounds great with the double pickups.

How about a video of the Trinagular Bajo in the background.

What's the story on that unique Bajo.

  • I need to do a bit of work to it to get it back playing again. It sounds a little quiet because of the shape but plugged in it sounds good. It was ordered along time ago and the person who asked for it moved and we never heard from him again. It sat unfinished for a long time and about a year or so ago we my Dad and finished it. and now it sits.

  • A cuanto me vende ese Bajosexto Amigo?

  • @LoneStar420 I think that's a balalaika.

  • Where are you guys located?

  • how do make a double pickup

  • sounds very good!

  • Sounds great. Come to think of it, this is the only Bajo Sexto I have seen so far that has no cutaway.

  • Where can i get a lefty?????

    Do they Make them???

  • @atlista Also, the bajo sexto is tuned an octave lower than the 12-string guitar, essentially making it a 12-string bass guitar. In fact, the name "bajo sexto" is Spanish for "sixth bass."

  • se salio el maistro con esa rolita estilo fondo de bikini
