As part 3 of a 5 part series: Anne B. Wilde was born a member of the LDS Church, attended BYU, married in the Los Angeles temple, and began studying LDS history and doctrine as a wife and mother of 3. After discovering that many fundamental doctrines (taught by Joseph Smith and Brigham Young) were discontinued by the modern LDS Church, Anne prayed to God, and felt directed to become a Mormon Fundamentalist, and a polygamist. This is her story.

  • This lady seems pretty brace to give this interview. It was very fascinating.

I did not know Mormons were still polygamists. thanks, very interesting.

  • I wouldn't say the stereotypes of Mormon polygamy are wrong; abuse and such do go on. They might not apply to all polygamous families, however.

  • lds are not polygamist but fundamentalist lds are, please don't get confused.

  • @RaeBae29 Hello, I have heard that LDS do not practice polygamy anymore but why is there so much on the internet about modern day polygamy and also in the media, do these people belong to a different type of church? It is confusing.

  • It just breaks my heart because God loves them and will let them be in heaven if they just believe on Him and that Jesus died for them. Jesus did all the work, they don't need to.

  • Galatians 1: 8

  • Divorce is a sin! Read you bible silly!

  • "When me and my hubby go out and someone sees me I know, we play a game like we dont know each other". Playing a game huh. Interesting choice of words, and shows her real level of integrity.

  • why is D&C 132 still part of your scripture? Most Mormons may not practice it but you still believe in it.
