This video is a short visualization of spreading of a web link, as seen from the web server's access logs. A short baseline from a couple of days before the spread is shown first. It followed by a period of high traffic, starting somewhere between 2008-03-25 and 2008-03-26.
2008-03-25 a benevolent group of Finnish hackers called KKS (Kuolleiden Koodereiden Seura) decided to take a deeper look into then-new Sampo Bank web bank system. They documented their findings into their wiki. A couple of hours later a link to the wiki page started spreading like a wildfire. The KKS wiki is available and full of cool stuff: http://kks.cabal.fi
This video is created from the KKS wiki access logs using Clarified Logster, your friendly access log visualizer: http://www.clarifiednetworks.com/logster
