Ah man. This is my most favored song that we have sight read this year... it has no real melody, but EVERY part gets a good part (or so for the clarinets at least).
Without percussion we're able to actually HEAR some of the parts. Yet, we have YET to get through everything... Mr. Pence is all odd about warm-ups and tuning that it takes about an hour to do everything. UGH!
Ah well, our symphonic (my band) is playing this. Our wind symphony just got done with Dance of the Jesters. Amazing peice!

We are playing this today!!! But my band is a lot bigger. We're the Pittsburg Marching Show Band. We just came back from playing at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York a few months ago!!! It sounds awesome though.
