  • this guy is an animal.. every one at the top level of Olympics uses some hormone preparations.. evvvveryone.... if they don't they will not be near the top, simple as that. There are many ways to beat a test..

does anyone know if hormone replacement therapy exemption is available at Olympics? not that it matters with insulin, igf, hgh, peptides available but just curious.

  • @Tj5923 ... testosterone is simply a hormone g that allows the muscles to rebuild themselves faster. hGH is shit for muscle growth and is more often used for fatloss by bodybuilders.

  • @TheBruiser012 and btw steriods do help build muscles because its basically an artificial version of testosterone if it only helped you train harder why wouldnt people just take hgh?

  • @TheBruiser012 ask yourself this - you just basically admitted that roids give you the edge im sure if some of the throwers took roids today such as Reese Hoffa and Christian Cantwell they would be tanks

  • @Tj5923 ask yourself this - if we have had advances in training and supplements since the 1980s, why has no one has ever gone over 23m other than Barnes/Timmermann. The GDR admitted to having a state drug program and Ulf admitted it on a fourm - we will say that Ulf was on the dope too, doesn't mean he didn't work fucking hard. He took hundreds of throws in one training session and could not have recovered without the help of roids.

  • @Tj5923 You can go and ask Anatoly Bondarchuk, the greatest coach of the throws ever if you don't believe me, if throwing over 23m or so is possible without an anabolic effect. Unless your name is Jacko Gill, it won't happen without drugs.

  • @Tj5923 Barnes, Schult, Timmermann, Andrei, Gunthor, Beyer, Hohn, Scmidt - all of them. I don't support them (by the way, it helps you build muscle by letting you train harder). I don't support it, but I'm letting you know that everyone in the Seoul olympics was on roids in that final where Timmermann beat Barnes. After that, the GDR gave up the drugs - but the Americans kept going. Some (Myerscough) have also done it recently, and he can now not go to the Olympics becyase of it.

  • @TheBruiser012 so you are supporting the use of steriods? It gives a very unfair advantage over the people who work hard. It does more than simply making you recover fast it makes you build muscle unaturally. It also has very dangerous side effects such as kidney or liver damage. I would rather work hard naturally then to have the many side effects of steroids. Some of the records in the 70s and 80s are bull shit do too roid usage. *cough* Randy Barnes

  • @Tj5923 BTW, go and learn about steroids first - they allow people to recover faster and thus these people can train much, much harder. There's a least 1 doper in every event nowadays at an international level, I don't need proof and in the 70s and 80s, every thrower did it - becuase it levelled the playing field and it was then technically fair (allthough it means the world records can now only be touched by very few people).

  • @Tj5923 The proof is the fact he went over 23m, 22m is mostly a clear sign that the thrower has used steroids/heavy anabolics at some point (heck, 21.50m, look at Carl Myerscough - doping at age 15). The only clean throwers over 22m are the ones who "pull the big one" when the adreanalinne helps. Not everyone today is clean, that's for sure. I have suspicions about Andrei Mikhnevic being the prime cuplrit. Live in your world of ignorance if you must, but Timmermann was NOT clean.
