Hi West Conner, Greetings from Ireland! I was taking 10mg of Ambien (or 'Stilnoct' as it's branded in Ireland) for five weeks. I stopped three nights ago and have been unable to sleep since!I wake after two hours.Kinda wish I wasn't given the drug in the first place.

Ive been on many different drugs for insomnia, Rohypnol, temazepam, zopiclone and currently on 10mgs of zolpidem. I dont like the zolpidem at all. I wake up regularly throught the night and have the most intense wierd dreams/nightmares. I think I shall go back to zopiclone. Im currently taking physeptone for pain management and would like to know how it may interact with zolpidem.

this feels like a really strong drug? i wake up feeling like "what did i do last night b4 i feel asleep??" i remember most but jus not all... to me besides legality. it seems like pot is sooooooooo much less of a drug than this intense crazy hard thing. i am perscribed this. but i dont know if i want to continue taking it... i was sort of excited to try it having sleeping problems an such, but its almost like eating 15 xanax an snorting a line of K b4 bed every night?????

Hair loss from a sedative/hypnotic, seems highly unlikely. Ususally hair loss, or gain, is triggered by drugs that affect the hormone balance in your body; and I don't think zolpidem does that. It's best to check with your doctor.

Hi all, I am having a different side effect after taking ambien, my HAIR is falling out by the root! this has never happened to me before. Is this happening to ANYONE else? a co-worker is also having the same problem. HELP! P.S. I have since stop taking the drug until someone can give me an answer. Going Bald Fast.

it didnt last 8 hrs long for me it made me see double of things before i went to sleep idk about it but in the past when i was in the hospital it worked for me i dont understand why we have to suffer with all these problems

i take mine in 30 minutes - i love it! wow that pharmacy looks fun i wish i could take a bunch of bottles (then again most bottles of the really good stuff are locked)

Then you must have lied about your symptoms to your Dr., causing them to misdiagnose you, in order for you to get the drug you stoopid junkie. Next time eat right and exercise your fat-ssa asleep.

i took this once didnt sleep and felt like crap all day this drug is the worst thing i have ever taken
