Beautiful sounds of the late sixties by Hedge & Donna (Capers).
This is one of their most remembered songs. It belongs to the
album "All the Friendly Colours" released in 1969.
It was also included in a selection of songs by various artists by Capitol records called "The New Spirit of Capitol" in 1969.
Their albums remain unissued in CD to this day.

Amazing! I haven't heard this since 1979. All of the Hedge and Donna albums went with my ex in the divorce. We had all of the albums. My ex had known them before he met me.
I'd love it if someone created a CD with this beautiful music.

@kimm711 - Are you the Kim who moved to the San Juan Islands way back when? If so, you broke my heart when you left LA.

Thanks to whomever posted this. I have been looking for this song for many years. The only thing I remembered about it was the line about licorice. Sorry I missed you at the Troubadour Arnie -- I lived in LA and hung out at the Sunday Griffith Park concerts but was just a few years too young for clubs.
