This home video was taken to give you the experience of landing aboard an aircraft carrier. Remember the good weather, minimum speed, and landing in a 100' area on a moving ship traveling about 30 MPH.

All real pilots have basically the same attributes. Intelligence, calmness, guts and hand eye corridiation. All can be trained ; do not compare our wonderful Navy to our wonderful Air Force. Different missions, different training. Both are wonderful. If a Navy pilot goes down, I'll be there. And I know he/she will be there for me! Same goes for general aviation. We are all pilots!

@ConnorTaylorBP Well yeah that is actually how carrier pilots land. Sorry for commenting on a comment that was posted 5 months ago. I'm a total nerd and I just saw this video. Anyways, carrier pilots are supposed to land at the very limit of landing speed, because if they landed slowly, the cable would have no effect at all.

@TwoEyeCyclops Concentration levels must be 100 percent. Though if you are Chuck Norris, you can look like that with 2.5 percent concentration.
