yeah you are correct. A lot of these planes are going about 15-20 knots faster than there assigned landing speed. The FMC calculates the landing speed based on weight, these pilots are doing about 15 more than that in case theres wind direction change, wind sheer, thats why when most of them flare, they go back up.
