@Dslater417 : Also known as Cellophane tape.
-
ummm no, the majority of the united kingdom’s sense of humour extends to laughing at people’s misery on the front page The Sun

@Dslater417 Sellotape is a brand name like Scotch Tape is a brand name. Like Band Aids is a brand name and in the UK they are called Elastoplasts - why? the most populr brand name. In one country one brand became so famus its name became synonomous with the product. Other examples of this are Kleenex and Hoover and in the past Xerox for photcopies though this seems to have died out.

@samtwist Oh dear. Sense of humour somehow got lost in translation, did it?
-
Haha yeah precisely...this is because the majority of the population of England are miserable bastards and would sooner take the piss out of you for their amusement than help you out...then they will tell you their rudeness is somehow friendly because it’s up front apparently...
-
It's not the worst stereotype being overly friendly and naive.

There just being friendly

Hahaha!! I'm American and this was hilarious! I love how she didn't get openly hostile but just humored them. Oh... when I get across that pond it would be so much fun to be that crazy American tourist on purpose just to get a look of other people's faces. Especially if I had someone to come with me and we could dress up like a pair of old people(only do so poorly).
