My mom has this phone and had the same problem. I work for T-Mobile, and after a few seconds of playing with her phone figured it out. After you pull up the Sent messages the first time, select "Mark." This will only Mark one message. Then go to options again, and then "Mark All." For some reason when you mark just one, then mark all, then go back to options, the option for Delete appears. Check it out and let me know :)

I figured it out eventually, but I ditched this phone and T-Mobile in the spring and got an iPhone. It costs way more, but I think it's worth it.

had to go through and look for the unfinish sent message and delete them manually first.

nvm...figured it out, apparently i had a few sent massage from a month go that was still trying to send through...and it wont let me delete it until i cancel it first...if you mark those unfinish sent message with the others and try doing mass delete, it wont work somehow....

works, but it's a pain to go through over 400 texts to find the ones that didn't send

I always found it odd that people do this. You selected a good carrier, but a poor phone initially. Your solution was to pick a good phone and a poor carrier? You do realize that T-Mobile offers some excellent phone choices as well (at a much lower monthly rate than our nation wide competitors)? If you're going to spend so much money, why not get a Galaxy III on T-Mobile? Or other top of the line device.

I've had this problem with this phone. It only happens in your sent box when you mark all the messages and try to delete them but one or more messages has failed to send. All you have to do is unmark the unsent messages and then you can delete the ones that have sent and are still marked. Then you just cancel the unsent messages, mark them and delete.
