How To Spray Paint ...A Metal Box

In this video we spray paint a plain metal storage box we sourced from our local Ikea. The paint we used is Rust-Oleum Universal, which is the world's first all-surface spray paint. After you spray paint the metal do you need to use some kind of gloss on it? Or is that not neccesary?
