Not really, I can see how the two female characters could be compared and how they both tap into a that "it could happen to you horror" but story wise and they're two completely different films.

This film made such a lasting impression on me, I don't ever want to watch it again. I don't think I'd be able to, it's too real and that scares the living shit out of me. Now THAT'S a horror film.

This director is on par with Hitchcock in my opinion, and I would not throw that comparission around lightly.

my favorite horror film ever. and the most disturbing movie i've ever seen. i don't get scared by movies. this is the only exception i've come across.

One of those movies where you get the feeling the director really wants to hurt the audience.

i saw a lot of horror , gore movies you name it...but i don't know, i was expecting A LOT from this movie..especially the ending...in the ending i liked the sound effects u know...but visually i expected a lot....i didn't really liked it.i thought the ending was a surprise ending u know,but for me it wasn't a surprise. that's my opinion
