So here's the deal for all you "Neon 4 banger garbage" haters. Bring yourself, your wife, your child (in their carseat) a stroller, and all your racing supplies to the track in your racecar (no trailer now) and race me. If you win, then I will remove this video from the internet and post an apologie to all you muscle car nuts (even though I have nothing against the cars, just their asshole owners). Actually it does, for $1500 you can buy a new spring to hold the wastegate closed, a mapclamp to hide boost, a manual boost controler, chopped off exhaust, and a set of slicks. This is all that is needed for 290whp which with some weight reduction (seats, interior, ac, ps, random other crap that is free to remove) is enough to run a high 11 quater mile (which is only shaving 2 seconds off, Most decent drivers with stock cars on street tires can run 13.8) Its the ghetto way to do it but it works

Oh check out my 40+ psi neon with my manual turbo. 10,000 miles later they don't understand why there engine is burning oil or why their trany is grinding or doesn't have a gear. Haha. I Love race car neons. My budy had 3 engines... 2 tranys and he kept his stock and it just hit 100,000 miles last year. They are gold tho right?
