I love the song alot! but I felt it was sorta. But it was in great fun. I think!!!

Now, I am amazed how Ronald Reagan was seen as the epitome of evil...i grew up when this song was popular...I have always loved the festive nature of the song......but now I know, Reagan wasn't all that bad knowing the way things are moving now.....

It seems that the message of this song speaks to how in our ever increasingly synthetic world of illusion, just a simple hug is still our best solution. Thanks Bow Wow Wow..

@TheStrangeRanger i'm no ronnie raygun fan and i didn't love growing up w/ thoughts of a nuclear armageddon with the Soviets, but i felt more unsafe and endangered with dubya and cheney than i ever did w/ reagan.

It's easy to talk with hindsight , but
true....the world is a much unsafer place today.
We haven't seen nothing yet,
there are things to come like ,dirty nuclear & biological bombs in the hands of terrorists.
But then....world populatation needs a bit
thinning.
Sorry for this downer with such an uplifting song.
