  • yes yes. empathy is the ability to transmit and receive emotional messages.

but it is not compassion, the act of suffering together.

the example of Haiti is a good one. with technology the world may empathize, but that does not mean it was compassionate.

empathy without compassion is moral self-indulgence.

  • Globalism here we come :)

  • Nevermind, already found an article on the mitochondrial eve.

  • Can anyone point me out to the Whole data base woman and man subject, it spiked my curiosity.

  • Curiosity brought me here.

  • @trademark1989est There is no hell. It's an invention of some religions.

  • If there's no empathy in heaven is there's no apathy in hell? Hmmm

  • "Empathy is the oppposite of Utopia There is no empathy in Heaven, I guarantee you, I'll tell you before you get there. There isn't any empathy in Heaven because there's no mortality. There's no empathy in Utopia because there is no suffering. Empathy is grounded in the acknowledgement of death and the celebration of life and rooting for each other to flourish and be." Paradise is painless so you cant appreciate pleasures, but a singular life where you can feel both. That's a life worth living!

  • I would of liked to see the entire picture at the end! Animation clears up ideas as they are meant to be put across.

  • @lokadin Reincarnation is not a fact, it's a belief.

  • @unclefrodo1 Utopia is the state of no suffering, since humans are mortal beings, suffering is inevitable. Although increased levels of empathy would indeed make the world a better place.
