299fps is not bad. Mine is doing about 306 with a 29 inch carbon arrow and a 100 grain tip.

Thanks, even at 5 arrows I am ruining the fletchings. I found arrows for 5 dollars a piece so its not so bad. I have never seen a bow so accurate. Its almost addictive to shoot it each day. I will have my string wore out before hunting season. lol

you might want to start shooting a 5 spot target so you dont ruin all your arrows

Yes! The Tomkat is one of the best bows made. I am shooting in a 3 inch circle at 25 yards with every arrow! The bow is so accurate, I keep hitting my arrows and having to toss them. I even split an arrow like robin hood and it was a carbon arrow.I am tossing 2 arrows a day at 8 dollars a pop! lol ohh well! Price you pay for accuracy!
