Book of Mormon does not replace our bible. It is merely an extension from people in another country that was during the same time. I doubt Heavenly Father (God) only advised prophets in one region, leaving the rest of his children without any direction in other countries. I hope this does not come off offensive, as I mean it in a great way and an educational way. :) Thank you for your kind words.

This video is one of my favorites. I love President Uchtdorf and his talks, and I love being a Mormon. There's a pioneer trek coming up and I don't want to go, but after seeing these videos, I feel so inspired, happy, and part of such a great religion. Today is my last day to sign up for the trek and instead of letting pass by, I'm going to sign up right now, and build experiences and moments and let my testimony grow and gain new friendships.

In response to the comment/question, "What does this have to do with being Mormon?" the answer, in my opinion, is 'everything'. The video message is about valuing God's creations, especially His children, above all other pursuits. His top priority are His children. That doctrine is the heart of Mormonism.

This video is what its all about. the search for happiness through living a rich and complete life. To cling to family, to love and serve all those around you, and follow in the footsteps of Christ. That is my religion.

Hi, i am a mormon. I truly love my church and it's people. I noticed that no matter where you go, moromons are always there to help you. A woman that i didn't even know helped me move in to virginia, that just shows how kind mormons are. I hope in this kind of world mormons will be rcongized more.

"Dilligently doing the things that matter most will lead us to the savior of the world." -Uchtdorf. Firstly, the reference of the savior marks a religious note, and Mormonism is a christian religion, so you have one point there. Secondly, Uchtdorf holds one of the highest positions in the church and so his council is to be taken seriously by those who adhere to the church's teachings. But, on a general level, it has less to do with the church, more to do with living with gratitude & focus.

Very well said Sara, I may have said it similarly. I like sharing spiritual stuff with people and you couldn't have been more right. Before I became Lds I use to be Hindu and many of the things I was taught as Hindu I was taught in the Mormon Church but in the latter with much more clarity and with a fullness of God's teaching.I strongly believe that god was preparing people all over the world to accept Christ long before he came to earth by calling prophets in different nations and people.
