wait a minute, what exactly is this dude doing differently? This sounds EXACTLY like the original? Shouldn't he mention that it's a cover at least in the song title (ie: "The New Holidays Cover) instead of JUST putting his name there? I've noticed a few of his songs are like this as well... He isn't really "borrowing" but just removing the old vocals and replacing it with his own... this is nothing new. I mean, if he's not doing anything different from the original, i'd rather hear the old vers.

seriously... couldn't have said it better myself. mainstream hip hop is retarded and just horrible to listen too. it has nothing to say. i dont wanna hear about how you made a living selling crack, coke, meth, whatever. oh man now i should try and write music about my hard life. your life is hard because your dumb and uneducated.  their are however exceptions to mainstream hip hop such as, TI, Ludacris(back in the day), and Eminem.

if you hadnt noticed, all music is biting from oldies tracks. if you take the time and go study up on classical, you'll realize bach, mozart, wagner, all of them pretty much did every note progression, timing, chords available. music will never totally be original. people have their own styles, but nothing is ever original nowadays.

Maybe not entirely original, but this dude just straight up ripped the original. Give the old one a listen (The New Holidays, same song title) and you'll hear the exact same song, DJ's who sample are a bit different than this; they take just a bit, not the entire song and pass it off as their own like this dude...
