One Dread is an 8 piece reggae band formed in 2010 in the bayside area of Brisbane.
Expect to hear a diverse range of styles from this new crew as each member brings something different to the table. Our style is unique - we have musicians from reggae, funk, blues, rock, metal and jazz backgrounds to concoct some melodic greatness for your ears!
We have been blessed to jam with some top acts like SONS OF ZION, DARKY ROOTS, THIS VERSION, PAUA, THE UPSTEPPERS & DUBMARINE just to name a few. With more shows on the way it's going to be an exciting year in 2011.
Together as ONE DREAD, our dream & goal is to share the love and sound of reggae, be humble and truthful.
