This is uploaded mainly for a private viewing, but it is worthy of a wider viewing to highlight the stupidity of Channel 7's reporting . At 1:11 Chris Reason says, "all of these pictures are supplied by [The Department of] Defense; Seven News cannot vouch for them". The pictures are from the Department of Defense for pete's sake, so why would Ch7 need to "vouch for them"? Channel 7 is trying to give the impression that there could be some doubt about the validity of the fire the Australians are coming under in Afghanistan.
there is next to no footage of australian soilders fighting makes u wounder how intense the fights are if they dont want u to see them. my dad is in army he served in iraq training soilders but even during travel between bases they where fired apon and mortored in what was the safe zone so the only people who know the true going ons are the soilders them selves

australian commandos jezz the media here in australia is stupid. the commandos and sasr don't have media with them recording and showing there firefights on tv. and video recorded by aussie sf themselves will never be seen.

I remember watching this but it does not show the actual enemy nor the Aussie shoulder actually being wounded so Chris Reason's admission is fair enough I think - that we'll just have to trust the Department of Defence - as it's a bit vague and could've been a training exercise for all we know - and the media should be clear when things are straight from Government for the sake of democracy.
