Lemonjello will sometimes bite his toenails (claws).
Every time we try to get it on video, he immediately stops, because he seems to notice and actively hate cameras (a unique quality I've never seen in a cat).
At least this time, we caught the tail end of it, capturing him doing it exactly once. If there isn't a camera around, he'll do it over and over and over.
He's never been as savvy with his claws, and has a very different kind of intelligence from Oranjello. (For example, when roped to a tree while camping, upon tangling himself he will systematically un-tangle himself by pulling in every direction of a circle until he's free.)
I'm thinking his general lack of claw self control means he doesn't scratch as well on cat scratching posts, and gets longer claws, and his strange ingelligence with manipulating objects (like rope) fills in the gap by making him realize that he can bite the claws... 'Cause I've never seen this in a cat before.
