  • I cannot believe they set that home on such a windy day. DUH

  • The video speed is sped up to fit in the time allowed. It really wasn't that windy.

  • how much would something like this cost?

  • That home is 2,600 square feet and has a home only base price around $150,000, not including land, foundation & site work.

  • how much for foundation & site work?

  • Foundation & site work costs can vary depending on your home size, site conditions and available utilities. We have a land/home project work sheet that we put together with customers once we have some more details on their home wants and the land or area they are interested in placing their home in. Please give us a call at 585-226-2727 or 315-462-9401 so we can put together some customized information for you. Thank you.

  • Something to watch out for on a modular home is, don't buy a mod home unless it's an off-frame home.

A lot of banks won't finance the home unless it's an off-frame home, the more banks you have to work with, the better. If you have to sell the home, it will be easier for the new home owner to get financing.

Don't let the salesman talk you into an on-frame home saying, Oh it's so much stronger, it's just as strong without that temp frame.

Don't let them use MDF on the 1st floor sub-floor

  • i built that house in the factory it came from

  • there a lot of little things that go into a modular home that you have to take into account after purchasing a modular home, plumbing, site work, foundation, eletrical, appliances...etc......some do not like the idea of a modular home and do not trust the quality of a modular home, but those aspects are all completely up to you and how much you can afford or are willing to invest. A modular home can be just as well in quality at a stick built home. It's all up to the buyer

  • Very nice home & well done, you could almost feel the cold.
