Always wonder why so many African Americans converted to NOI, almost as an oppositional reaction to Christianity. Not saying one religion is better than the other (they're both sketchy, quite frankly). But the Arab Muslims were heavily involved in the African slave trade, too. They exploited blacks for profit as much as anyone.
