**the next morning**

Taylor: **walks downstairs and into the kitchen to get a cup of water**

Selena: **making breakfast and sees taylor** hey, you're up early.

Taylor: so are you.

Selena: **smiles**

Taylor: so you know how to cook?

Selena: correction. i'm attempting to cook.

Taylor: **laughs**

Selena: **flipping an egg and it lands on the floor** ok...i need a new egg. **cleans up the egg thats on the floor**

Taylor: **laughs** do you need some help?

Selena: **looks at him** you know how to cook?

Taylor: a little.

Selena: good. cause i can't cook for beans.

Taylor: **laughs** here, i'll teach you.

Selena: great. **gets two eggs out of the fridge** what now?

Taylor: crack the eggs and put them in the pan.

Selena: **does what taylor says**

Taylor: now carefully toss the eggs into the air.

Selena: **looks at taylor** are you serious...?

Taylor: don't worry, i'll help you.

Selena: **holds the handle of the pan**

Taylor: **goes behind her and holds her hand that is touching the handle** now...carefully...toss it in the air. **tosses the two eggs in the air and catches it back in the pan.

Selena: nice, you're really good at this.

Taylor: **laughs** thanks. here, you try it. **steps back**

Selena: **tosses the eggs in the air and catches it** i got it!!

Taylor: **laughs** congratulations.

Selena: thanks, i've been wanting to learn since forever. but nessa isn't a really good teacher.

Taylor: so are you and vanessa really close?

Selena: you can say that. **puts the eggs onto two plates** now i'm gonna go make some bacon. this time, i actually know how.

Taylor: **smiles** you're different.

Selena: **starting to cook the bacon** so i've been told.

Taylor: different in a good way. you're not like other girls.

Selena: oh really?

Taylor: they're always scared to cook cause they don't wanna break a nail or get their hair dirty. you on the other hand, don't care.

Selena: i think it's most important to have fun and feel comfortable in what you do. that's all i care about, as long as i'm having a good time, i'm good.

Taylor: **smiles**

Selena: **finishes making the bacon and puts them onto the plates**

Taylor: so you must have a lot of boys going after you.

Selena: nope. none so far.

Taylor: liar.

Selena: **laughs** i'm serious. **hands taylor his plate** here you go.

Taylor: **looks at the burnt bacon**

Selena: ok, they're not exactly what i expected. but hey, they might taste better than they look.

Taylor: **laughs and eats the bacon** you're right.

Selena: **laughs** how about you? got a lot of girls going after you?

Taylor: yea, but i don't have any interest in them.

Selena: really? why not?

Taylor: they're not the kinda girl i'm looking for.

Selena: and what kind of girl are you looking for?

Taylor: a girl that doesn't care what other people think about her. a girl that's different from all the rest.

Selena: hmmm...

Taylor: how about you? what do you look for in a boyfriend?

Selena: a guy that likes me for me.

Taylor: that simple, huh?

Selena: i'm a simple kinda girl. **smiles**

**later on in the day**

Selena: **walks into taylor's room** you ready to go?

Taylor: yea. **putting on his converse**

Demi: **walks to where they are** where are you guys going?

Selena: i'm gonna show taylor around.

Demi: is that a date?

Selena: **rolls her eyes**

Taylor: alright, i'm all set.

Demi: **whispers in selenas ear** i want all the details later. **leaves**

Selena: **sees taylor's converses** nice converses. i have a pair just like it. **lifts up her foot to show taylor her converse**

Taylor: guess we have more in common than we thought.

Selena: **laughs** let's go.
