George Clooney jokes that if actors campaigned against each other like politicians do, rivals would quickly roll out pictures of him in the rubber Batman suit from the much maligned 'Batman And Robin'.

  • I don't blame Clooney. I blame Schumacher!

  • Despite him being in the NippleBatsuit, I thought he would be a good choice for Batman. It's basically the writing that screwed everything up, as well as the damn Bat Nipples, Bat Ass, and the dreaded Bat Credit Card...

  • @dmenace4life Blame Warner Bros. too!

  • This movie was so bad i thought it was funny just seeing what other crazy thing were they going to pull off, it might be the worst batman movie but i got a kick from watching the stupid stuff ensue and i grew up watching that movie more then any other of the batman movies, its a comedy and after hearing that it was gonna be a lighter tone then Batman Forever it could have only become a spoof/comedy at that point.

  • @dmenace4life I don't blame Schumacher... I blame Warner Bros.

  • @F1315NJ I agree if he were playing a similar to Michael Keaton way of portrayal he'd be great

  • Glad he saw the funny side.

Admitting you read Batman during that time raised a few sniggers in conversation with non comic book reading friend's.

  • Batman and Robin was way better than the Dark Knight

  • The studio and a self involved Shumaker are to blame for BATMAN & ROBIN.

Clooney was actually a good choice fore Bats. The tone of the film and the nipples couldnt allow him to be any good though.

Thats why when "studio" films like B&R come along (GREEN LANTERN) you can smell it a mile away- and they always suck.

  • @dmenace4life I'm with you on that, but I blame everyone involved for not caring enough about the source material or the audience it was intended for.
