@sszorin .. Part 3.. Under the weight of the 3 assaults the Slovak kingdom disintegrated and fell. Czechs took for themselves Slovak land west of the river Morava. The land east of the river became gradually part of the kingdom of Hungary.The guilt of the theft of someone else's land later forced some Hungarians to come with the theory that they did not steal it because the Slovaks did and do not exist, therefore they only took what belonged to no one. At the same time they propagated a legend.

The inhabitants called themselves Sloven [singular], Sloveni [plural].The name of their homeland today follows this ancient term, it is called SLOVENSKO. = Sloven + the suffix indicating [relating to] land/country. Czechs and Franks [Germans] invaded "the Great Moravia", the Magyar [Hungarian] tribes took advantage of the situation and raided and pillaged the sections of the country.

In 895 at the diet of Regensburg the Czech leaders asked the east frankish emperor Charles III. to attack the kingdom of the so called Greater Moravia and offered to be his vassals.
