The Glidecam HD4000 was the biggest flyer I had to carry some extra weight.

Canon 60D was the base for this last minute hacked up rig. The 60D provides a flip out screen and manual audio levels.

A Sigma 20mm gives me wide, without distortion on the 60D.

The new Rode VideoMic Pro with it's new +20db feature with 60D Manual Audio turned down low sounds real real good.

The 352 LED ring light provides a very bright, large area, evenly diffused, dimmable light source. I needed to raise up the camera with a battery grip and QR plate to fit the light.

Needed to pick up a pair of 7.2V RC batteries and ran them together at 14.4V. The 352 LED Ring light rocks...

  • can you mount viewfinder AND LED ring light?

  • @ewuathletics Sure I don't see why not. I don't use a viewfinder to fly though.

  • When your flying the camera around.... how are you pulling focus?

  • @JoshuaBeeLoved You don't pull focus. You just fly with everything in focus. Set the aperature properly on a wide lens.
