Okay, this is a drum cover of Dani California by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I used a tab for a few of the parts I was unsure of, but ultimately had to play it by ear the rest of the way. I know I missed a few ghost notes here and there - chad loves his ghost notes!

Drums are Roland TD-3SX.

  • can explain to me those headsets? do they play both a metronome and mp3 at the same time?

  • I guess, if you wanted to. Basically, the mp3 player mixes in with the drums. If you turn the metronome on you will hear that too (as well as the recording if your doing it for youtube.)

I wear the headphones because I dont have a good amp setup for the drums.

  • don`t get cheap electric drums they fall a part look at rockbands drums this drum set is like 2grand nice playing by the way

  • Worth every penny too :)

nothing wrong with a used set of rolands :)

  • Nice!!!

  • @bulok1979 thanks, i think i will find a band but slowly.. the people in my band has to be from my age, 1 year older or younger is no problem but my skills of drummer are a bit higher than that from my mates so in 10 years i will change band i think!

  • @TheTwicey

hmm..im pretty sure ud find a band to jam with,,be it for weekend jams or gigs,,ask around,,,good luck hunting,,

  • @bulok1979 true. im looking for a band, but not very intensive. im still young and dont have a job to make constantly mony to buy a better drumset and stuff. Im experienced, but not with a band.

  • @TheTwicey

lol, yeah,,concentration too,,specially if your playing live with a band,,drummers always at the back,,always near the bass players amps,,lol

and its easier to notice when the drummer made a mistake as compared to the guitars..unless its really a big mistake on the guitarists part. hehe

  • @bulok1979 it may be concentration too, but if you upload something like this, you have'nt only to think about what you are doing, but how it looks

  • @TheTwicey

i think faces like that are common with many drummers..

    lol

it just shows the personality of the person drumming,,hehe

  • it's pretty nice (I'm a drummer too) but you should do something about your expression, your mouth ;) and you look shy.. but overall it's pretty good!

  • pretty good......pretty good

  • This is why business men shouldn't play drums. He's like a drone... With a good waste of money.
