@pwilkutowski I've had the GS500, VT250F and ZZR250. The ZZR250 averaged about 60mpg with mixed. The GS500 did about 52mpg and at one point managed 67 cruising. The VT and ZZR managed about the same, so the VT is also the same as the GS. An AR125 I had manged about 60mpg.

is it city mpg or cruise or mixed (hard throtle ?) if so its almoust the same as GS500 entry bike.

@pwilkutowski I had one exactly like this. It pulls well low down and at 7000rpm it takes off. As for miles per gallon, about 56. The VT250F will do 100mph and happily cruise at 80mph.

I wonder how this older V engines pull with todays traffic ?

And what mileage per galon you got (or kilometers per liter) ?

This coud be wery nice city commuter - bad thing they don't come often where i live

ive got a 1983 vt250f that i havent ridden for a few months :(

thankyou for reminding me of the lovely guttural rumble of the beast :)

did the cops pull you up after that? :/
