  • Personal computing?

    That'll be the day.

  • Just saw the episode, absolutely brilliant. Normally when they do flashbacks or look into the past, it goes horribly horribly wrong on many shows. But this was one of the best episodes. It had everything. Tugged on the old heart strings.

And the 80's retro style intro just made it that bit more special :D. Loved it!

  • @Harrisoniasd Nerdgasm you mean ^^

  • When i first saw it, i was like...... WWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW.... i almost had an orgasm xD

  • Genius. The drum solo at the end I love it!

  • The music here reminds me of Com Truise.

  • I got a huge Tron vibe here.

  • Walternate disliked this!

  • lolz we gained every tech named here :D

  • @dkerris No I am pretty sure many things are impossible. Such as trying to walk on the sun, or eating a black hole, or cold fusion for example. It goes against the laws of physics. Cold fusion was a hoax in the 20th century and its still a hoax now and it will always be a hoax. Yes, fusion will get cheaper and more efficient over time, but it will never be "cold".

  • What is this personal computing that you speak of?

  • well, science is progressing rapidly, but as soon as we invent a true AI, it will theoretically have an incredible upper limit in intelligence.. limited only by the number of processors we can fit into it, in effect. It would be like taking an ordinary human brain, but multiplying it by 100s or 1000s of times. Imagine what ideas and discovers and intelligence that powerful can come up with, and thats how fast technology will evolve. within a generation, humans will be obsolete.
