I just read a Cars bio and realized Ben was the oldest member of the band, when "Drive" came out he was 38 already! He looked very young but he was born in the 47, he was the same age as David Bowie and only 5 years younger than Paul McCartney. He was around in the rock business a lot longer than I thought.

Of course; Those were the 80's! Times for romanticism and melancholy; but this sad songs make me happy because they are pure; I feel depressed when I listen to songs without any meaning, quite common nowadays
