The Great Temptations Hit from 1967. I was in Jr. High and this echoed through the halls from dozen's of little radios. Roger Penzabene wrote it to the love of his life, his wife who he later found out was cheating on him, generating "I Wish it Would Rain" and "I could Never Love Another" after which he committed suicide. Deep. Well, I don't sing, but Pearl does.
Wow this is awesome! You play really well :) I love that song very much. Well done !

Did you teach yourself how to play this or did you use sheet music or tabs? I wanna learn how to play this song so I was wondering.

@xXwhatXx098 I taught myself the song by ear, listening to it over and over, plus a minimum knowledge of how these Mowtown songs were structured. There was also a documentary on the Funk Brothers who were the rhythm section on all of these songs.

The actual guitar figure that is played beneath the verse is a single line that you can hear that was played on a Telecaster, but I had to sacrafice something to get the total feel of the song.
