I'm going to disagree with you. Jags are much higher up the ladder than BMWs. The new BMWs are rubbish-the quality is going, meanwhile Jaguar have overtaken them in quality and style. The new 5 series looks like dame edna everage's glasses.

I had a 02 M5, and that was crap. It spent too much time at BMW getting repaired, and the salesmen said that the e39 5 series was the best quality ever. I agree and the new ones are crap. Go Jag.

When I first saw the XF, I was disappointed with the front, I was expecting the sharper headlamps and masculine grill I saw on the concept. But now, I prefer the XF front to the concept's. I think this car just grows on you the more you look at it. This design is evergreen.

You abviously have not got the memo that ALL XF's will be replacing the X-type an S-type(entry level cars).The s550 is in a diff class than the XF so wtf are you talkin about?

I don't think the SV8 is an entry level car. It's faster than an E550. You know the same ugly peice of shit every year I see outside my Window, MB.

Do you know the base price of the XF? It isn't really that expensive, it competes against a 5 series. Regardless it was BMW's best year last year, so that does say something. I understand what you are saying, and you are right. Except this is a very appealing mid-size luxury sedan. Watch some of the comparison videos, you will see that it is noted for it's great value, kind of like a Acura TL.
