The pair now have the fry out and about. What is very interesting in this video is how the fry cloud is totally under control of the female. Most times they look like a cloud of gnats. When threatened the mother calls them into a tight group while the male protects the perimeter.

  • I collected mine wild. I don't have any idea who is selling them. The scientific name is Parachromis motaguense "red tiger"

  • They are in a 75 gallon by themselves.

  • The male is about 8". I do occasionally sell fish.

  • I caught an adult male in Honduras that was 14"
