BoxyTrixy - Hint 4 - Activating the platform in room 3

*SPOILER*

Quite tricky. Set a box diagonally in the groove at the entrance to room 3. Make a blue portal next to the small button at the entrance to room 1. Go through the door. Make an orange portal near the grating. Through the portal, push the small button to open the door, shoot an orange portal into the energy ball chamber, and race out the open door. Go through the blue portal (into the energy ball chamber), shoot an orange portal at where the ball hits the wall, go through the orange portal. Open the room 1 entrance door again, shoot the blue portal at the 'x'. Now you have a portal that shoots an energy ball into room 3, where it will bounce off the diagonal box and into the catcher.

So much easier than how I did it!

I jammed the door open with a cube, then had to time a 7-second run to get the ball shot through before the door forced the cube out while aiming the shot just over the top of the box (yet low enough to hit the angled cube). It was crazy!

Glad to know that wasn't the "intended" way, though now I'm kicking of myself for not thinking of just re-pressing the button through a portal.

@notme222 yeah unfortunately, i left a lot of puzzles that could be solved by jamming a camera into a door or some inelegant solution like that. i wish i had more beta testers before i released it :)

LMFAO! that was clever!

I did this quite differently! Believe it or not I got the ball through to the catcher via using the other button that you have to access from the top of the lift, but you have to wait for a new ball.

And you shouldn't show all the tricks to beating your map, you need to let people figure it out. It wasn't that hard, I beat it without cheating. though most of the rooms I beat a lil different than you do

Very, very nice. I had a feeling that the groove was there for a reason, but I could never figure out why.
