I thank you so much for bringing this discussion further into the public eye. We've all been cultured into rejecting difference, and it's great to see people like yourself making sure people realise this. Thank you so much Jennifer :)

Appearances are exactly that. Appearances. What matters most, I believe, are the things that make your heart content. The things that make one feel comfortable on the inside.
She's already said that she couldn't afford SRS or any of the feminization surgeries. And regardless of her being pre- or post op, she's a woman. She asks to be identified as a woman and people should honor her request.

The energy level may be as simple as needing more sleep. In fact I suspect it is just that.
How is the weight loss going, 60 pounds is an impressive amout to lose on your own. Besides the exercise, do you have any tips for people who seem to have plateued?

@Oreocremerocks i since had SRS in Dec 2008, and since losing my testosterone supply, and taking on estrogen, i have seen my strength, speed, endurance, and metabolism levels lower significantly. i managed to get another 10 pounds off prior to surgery, but have put back on close to 50 in the later stages of 2009 and in 2010.
there are really no short cuts. healthy eating, regular exercise, lots of water, and 7-9 hours of sleep seems to be the formula..

You are so lucky to work in an environment where you are socially respected and quite possibly accepted as well.

@Zentwang it was nice at the time, but unfortuantely, it didn't last. i was mysteriously let go and my contract was not renewed.... and i was replaced by 2 other new people who were given most of the work i was doing. a very sad ending to what had the potential to be a really good story....

I know bois on estrogen, it is very inexpensive even without insurance $10.00 gets a 90 day supply. Maybe you doctor can write a script for you. You will love what it does for you.

i started estrogen about 5 months after this footage was filmed. since then, it has slowly worked away. it's been pretty much as i had expected... minor breast development, softer skin, higher body fat, change in emotions, and of course, reduction in energy levels and muscle mass.
