Guess you'd be surprised to see blond Syrians and Turks too - but they're there. @LonelyBelle I sure do because of the skin color and the close DNA. Asians are not there own race it is a continent just like Europe is and Africa. There are white native Africans of northern Africa. So yes I consider those with white skin to be white because they are genetically white since they came about. It is not an abnormality in them it is who they are.

@steverock100 I have asked my husband and several of his friends. They do not consider themselves white. In fact many have told me that they are more closely related to Mongols than white. Also do you consider Asians with white skin as white as well?

@LonelyBelle Turks are white. Hitler may have not considered them Aryan but that does not mean they are not white. Yes there are cases where where people are born with white skin and are actually black I understand that but that is a rare case of something that is not right. Mariah Carey does not have white skin, light yes but not white.

@steverock100 Be careful with the whole "If you have white skin then you are white" thing. My husband's family are pale but they are Turks from Turkey.  I have family members with white skin but they are black. White skin doesn't always equal a person being white. By definition you would call Mariah Carey, who is mixed white and black, a white woman because her skin is white which would be wrong. She's mixed or by the one drop rule in the US she is considered a black woman.
