This is a test of sorts...trying out my new axe with Audacity recording software. Volume came out a bit low. The sound is running through Line6 Toneport GX with Gearbox software. The setting is a customized "Trooper" setting. Stock pickups for now...

I decided to learn this yesterday, and I played all the interesting parts bare...so it was hard playing clean being so naked with no backing track. Don't like the solo at all, so I don't think I'm going to learn the rest of the song.

Enjoy! It's good to be back. ;)

  • i have to say, those pickups sound better than your Seymour Duncans. the seys have more a digital and not as full sound!!!!

  • @SuperGuitarMark They are warmer and rounder, yes, but for more modern music or metal, I need the clarity and sharp punch. The pickups are great for a lot of different genres, though!

  • WOW, nice job man!! That was sick!

  • @movienoc101 Thanks man, I try. ;) Do you think I need to re-upload this with slightly higher volume? I'm working with a new setup, so I'm trying to get it just right for all my future videos.

  • That guitar looks so sexy

  • wow nice sound

  • Doesnt seem to be lacking any sustain at all.

  • hey man, is the cutaway good enough to reach the very last frets????

  • Now that guitar is a KICKASS"""!!!

  • Really considering getting this guitar, is it as good as you thought it would be?

  • @SuperGuitarMark Duncans sounding "digital"?

  • is that wide profile neck?

  • @OneLoveJK yeah, i guess im more into the round and warmer and beefier type distortion than the sharp, scratchy, buzzy, fuzzy digitally enhanced type that lots of metal people like.
